Every released recording, every signed-off mix, is a result of hundreds or thousands of individual decisions. These range from the big (does the world actually need a harmonica version of Eruption) to the detailed (what Q setting should I use for the mid-range cut on the glockenspiel solo).

Some years ago I needed a microphone to mic a guitar cab for live use. I bought a Shure SM57 because, as everyone knows, that this is the "industry standard" rock-guitar cab mic. So far so good!
Invalid project file in Cubase 10/14/2011
Invalid Project File messages in Cubase tell you that you have a problem, and that problem may be that you've just lost your project. So - if you don't autosave your projects, start now, if you don't manually save as a new version (ctrl - alt - S) before you make any radical changes or after you complete a task - start now. This stuff is all in the Manual. Oh, and keep a note of what is what!
